2026 Employer Assessment Rates available online

Employers can view their assessment rate and rate letter in connect under "Reports and Statistics".

Your Firm Administrator will automatically have access to this service, but will need to add the "View Account Information" service for other users who need access to the Rate Letter.

Annual Employer Statements

Employers can now submit their Annual Employer Statements online. These statements include Payroll, Occupational Health and Safety and Contractor Statements. File before the end of February each year to be considered for PRIME refunds and avoid a late reporting penalty. The service is still available after the deadline for the statements that were due this year.

Payroll Estimate Update Service

WorkplaceNL has a connect service for employers who need to revise their current year Payroll Estimate. To update your estimate, log into connect, click "Employer Account Changes" from the menu and then select "Update Payroll Estimate".

In order use this service, this year's estimate must already be reported. If you have not reported last year's actual payroll and this year's estimate, use the Annual Employer Statements service to report online instead.

Your Firm Administrator will automatically have access to this service, but will need to add it for other users (if required).

Correspondence service for claim-related letters

WorkplaceNL is now distributing employer claim-related letters including internal review letters online. Firm Administrators are automatically enrolled in the Correspondence service and will need to grant access to others in their organization as required. Access is granted through the Account Management option from the left-hand menu. You will receive an automated email notification when a new claim-related letter pertaining to your employee(s) is available for viewing on your connect account.

To view claim-related letters, select Correspondence then Claim-Related Letters from the left-hand menu. Letters will remain available for viewing online indefinitely, unless you delete them in connect. They will not be mailed to you. If you would like a copy, you may download, then print or save a copy.

You can opt-out of receiving automated email notifications from connect by unchecking the option on the top of the Claim-Related Letters page.

It is recommended to view letters in connect in a timely manner. Failure to review any letter does not change your procedural rights and obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act, 2022.

Oracle Supplier Portal

As part of its business modernization strategy, WorkplaceNL has implemented our new Oracle Cloud Financials solution and online Supplier Portal.

All payment and invoicing options for vendors and health care providers have moved to our new Oracle Supplier Portal. All other connect services remain the same.

Change your Firm Administrator (FA) online

Click on Change your Firm Administrator on the connect log in page, no need for more paperwork. All you need is your Firm Number, NIC code and one of your last five Invoice numbers.
